Head of Ukraine-Azerbaijan parliamentary friendship group condemns fabricated presidential election in Nagorno-Karabakh

Head of Ukraine-Azerbaijan parliamentary friendship group at Ukraine`s Rada Maxim Kuryachi has condemned the presidential election conducted by the puppet regime in Azerbaijan`s Nagorno-Karabakh district, which is under Armenian occupation.

“The fabricated presidential election held in the Azerbaijani territory occupied by Armenia is another provocation and nothing but a demonstrative violation of all norms of international law,” he said in a statement.

“The aggressor is trying to legitimize its crime with the help of fake democratic procedures and make the international community accept the fact of the establishment of a puppet regime. The history knows a lot of such examples and all of them have one common future.”

“The Ukrainians consider this comedy around the fake presidential election as a continuation of the aggression and another provocation against the Republic of Azerbaijan,” Kuryachi added.
